Q: How do I join the Conservative Party in Vernon BC?
A: Super easy – first get your $15 Conservative Party of Canada membership here (takes 2 minutes). Then come back here and join our local Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee mailing list. You're now a full fledged party member and will get all of the latest updates and events from the local conservative association.
A: National CPC membership is $15 per year. If you buy 3 or 5 years at once you get a physical card and a small discount. We always recommend you join for at least 3 years as people tend to forget until the next election.
A: Vote in leadership races, vote to pick the next candidate for Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee, attend policy conventions, get members-only emails and event invites, and help shape the future of the party.

A: It’s the local riding-level team (ours is VLCM). Our main goal is ensure that we elect a conservative candidate in our riding by fund raising, preparing for the next election, and growing the membership. We run nominations, host town halls, organize volunteers, and make sure Okanagan voices are heard inside the party.
A: The association consists of the Board and Executive. Any party member can put their name forward to be on the board. We meet regularly each month. You don't have to join the EDA to take part in events.
A: No. The Conservative Party of BC is a separate political entity that operates at the provincial level. The Conservative Party of Canada is not affiliated with the Conservative party of BC.
A: Door-knocking, phone banking, putting up signs, helping at events, data entry, social media – whatever fits your schedule. We run regular canvasses and always need drivers and coffee runners too!

A: Not at all. Hundreds of people volunteer with us before (or without ever) buying a membership. Membership just gives you extra voting rights.
A: You need an active $15 CPC membership at the cut-off date (usually a few weeks before voting starts). Join or renew today so you don’t miss out. This is why we recommend you choose a 3 or 5 year membership.

A: The Conservative Party of Canada deals with Federal politics. The current leader is Pierre Poilievre, our MP in Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee is Scott Anderson. The Conservative Party of BC is an unrelated political entity that only operates in the Provincial politics in British Columbia.
